In the framework of the Erasmus Mundus Project Mobilities for Innovation and Development" (BMU-MID) funded by European Enion we invite incoming mobility participants to study and conduct research at the Belarusian State University.

3. Research stay in Russian or English language Undergraduate / Master levels / Doctoral / Postdoctoral levels

Studies in Russian Language are organized at the BSU major Faculties and Institutes. Please visit relevant links in order to get aquainted with curricula and courses.

The amount of ECTS credits of each course taken can be calculated in accordance with the number of academic hours upon request in the Dean's Offices of the Faculties. Read more about ECTS

Language Requirements

studies in Russian Language
sufficient knowledge of Russian Language (minimum - B1-B2 levels)
studis in English Language sufficient knowledge of English Language (minimum - B1-B2 levels). However, at least elementary knowledge of Russian is preferable also for these applicants.

It is possible to apply for courses of Russian language on a fee-paying basis.

The academic year is split into the autumn and spring semesters each ending in examination session and vocation periods.

Undergraduate and master students have to arrive al least two weeks befor the start of the relevant semester. Program participants of other types of mobility are requested to arrange the dates of their study visits at the BSU in advance.

 

Coordination before Applying
We strongly reccomend applicants when planning you study visit to the BSU contact the Programs and Projects Office of the Department of International Relation in order to schedule research/ teaching plan, find a supervisor or a colleague who is willing to collaborate in the research and teaching activities you are proposing.

Costs of Living and Fees
For all Erasmus Mundus Program participants we offer living places in student dormitories, at about 15-20 Euro per month. A rented room in Minsk costs about 100-200 Euro per month; monthly bus ticket about 10 Euro. Dinner at the university canteen costs about 1 Euro. The Registration (Residence Permits) for the period of study in the Republic of Belarus cost about 20 Euro. Obligatory medical examination costs approximately 30 Euro (in case if the period of staying is more than 90 days).
