Faculty of Social and Cultural Communications

 


 

The Faculty of Social and Cultural Communications (former name - Faculty of Liberal Education) of the Belarusian State University was founded on the basis of BSU branch in Moscow on the11 of March 2004. In 2004-2005 academic year students had a possibility to study at two departments “Design” and ”International relations”. The first intake of students to all departments was held in 2005. At the present moment there are 2274 students at the faculty. 

Staff:    169 teachers among them 8 Doctors of Sciences and 56 Candidate of Science (PhD) degree holders. At the present moment there are 2074 full time and part-time students.  

 

 

Faculty offers programs of study leading to the Diploma of Higher Education, Master Degree, PhD Degree.

The following specialities and specializations are available for Higher Education Program:

Specialities

·         International Relations

·         Social Work

·         Information Science

·         Psychology 

·         Sociology

·         Contemporary Foreign Languages(specialization – translating)

·         Social Management 

Qualification: Translator (2 foreign languages).
