The date of foundation is June 7, 1976. The Faculty of Radiophysics and Computer Technologies is advanced educational and research center of the Republic of Belarus in the fields of radiophysics, electronics, information science and their novel applications.
 
Staff:   more than 100 lecturers, including 1 Member and 2 Corresponding Members of the Belarusian Academy of Science, 14 Doctors of Science and Professors, 63 Candidates of science and Assistant Professors, about 900 Students and 40 Postgraduates.

 

 

Faculty offers programs of study leading to the Diploma of Higher Education, Master Degree, PhD Degree.

Specializations: Statistical Radiophysics; Applied Electrodynamics; Quantum Radiophysics and Laser Systems; Laser Optical Technologies; Computer Instrumentation; Multimedia Information Technologies; Satellite Information Systems and Technologies; Stochastic Systems and Processes; Micro- and Nano-systems; Intelligent Information Technologies; Telecommunications and Information Systems.

Qualification – Physicist-engineer

Specializations: Solid State Electronics; Nanoelectronics and Nanotechnologies; Electronics of Information Technologies; Medical Electronics; Telecommunication and Information Systems; Information-Analytical Methods in Electronics; Radio-electronic and Telecommunication Systems; Intelligent Systems.

· Computer Security(radio physical methods,  software and hardware means)
 Qualification – Specialist in Information Security. Radio physicist.

Specializations: Comprehensive Information Security of Telecommunication and Information Systems; Software and hardware Tools and Systems of Information Security; Intelligent Technologies of Information System, Simulation and Analysis of Information Systems.

· Aerospace Radio-electronic and Information Systems and Technologies
Qualification Specialist in Aerospace Electronic and Information Systems and Technologies. Radio Physicist

Specializations: Global Navigation and Telecommunication Systems; Radio-electronic Systems for Information Processing and Transmission; Airborne and Ground-based Information Complexes.

· Applied Informatics (Information Technologies of Telecommunication Systems)
Qualification Specialist in Informatics.Specialist in Information Technologies of Telecommunication Systems.
